Does Universal Medicine claim to cure or prevent cancer?
Serge Benhayon categorically states that Universal Medicine and he do not claim and have not ever claimed to cure or prevent cancer or any other form of illness or disease. Rather he suggests that the person affected seek a more whole and informed manner in which they can assist the healing process.
In addition, Benhayon reports that, over the past ten or more years, he has supported a number of cancer patients, actively encouraging them to seek radio- or chemotherapy and giving them, often at no charge, supportive treatments whilst the radio- or chemotherapy are being conducted, to help support the body during what Benhayon states, "... can be a very intensive treatment." Clients have reported reduced side effects from the radiation or chemotherapy as a result of these sessions.
Benhayon states, "We never hold ourselves out as offering the whole picture and never have we said we offer a cure. We run a healing centre and we do just that – we offer healing, which is a part of the picture, with conventional medicine being another very important part of that whole."
Benhayon refers to the fact that medical doctors, specialists, dentists, psychologists, a physiotherapist and a sports physiologist have all worked closely with him for a number of years and have gone on the record to state the respect Benhayon has shown for Western Medicine. In the words of one specialist, Dr Samuel Kim MBBS FRACP MPH: "What I have learned from Serge Benhayon has been of significant importance to me professionally and has directly benefitted my patients. As a specialist with 9 years of experience, I would not continue to work with Benhayon were this not the case." See some of Dr Samuel Kim's case reports.
